Artist's Statement

Art has been an important part of my life, and over the years I have explored many media from painting to pottery which is incorporated in my work. My love of jewelry has allowed me to express my creative talents with color, texture, form, and design in many ways. The jewelry I create is one of a kind and is comprised of all natural materials such as, semi-precious stones, pearls, bone, lamp glass, crystal, original art work, and PMC. (PMC) or Precious Metal Clay is a relatively new and interesting medium that is pure fine silver, there is also bronze, copper, and other metals in clay form. Metal clay can be sculpted, refined, fired, patinated, and polished to transform into a beautiful piece of wearable art. At my shows I custom design and create, people find watching this process fascinating and enjoy the uniqueness of my work. I am a member of the Wesrern Pennsylvania Metal Clay Guild, and the Norwin Art League, where I teach jewelry making. My jewelry is on display and for sale at the Museum of American Art in Greensburg Pa; in juried art shows, festivals, select galleries, and my place of business. Gods' gift of creativity brings me great joy. Feel free to contact me on my website or email address below.
